What makes them great
Perth's top performers sit tight around the CBD, Northbridge and inner eastern suburbs where the Transperth rail network and high-frequency bus routes intersect. Perth CBD and Northbridge dominate the top two spots thanks to access to all five rail lines.

Why they score so low
Perth's worst-connected suburbs are concentrated in the outer Hills, Swan Valley and Serpentine-Jarrahdale areas where Transperth services are sparse or non-existent. Mundaring scores just 29 — the lowest in WA — with residents facing very long bus journeys or no service at all.
