Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 May 2026

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the gettinthr website and embeddable widget subscription service ("Service") operated by gettinthr ("we", "us", "our"). By subscribing to or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Widget Service

gettinthr provides embeddable public transport score widgets for use on real estate agent websites. Each widget displays suburb-level public transport data including scores, journey times, weekly costs, and connectivity information.

Widgets are provided on a monthly subscription basis at A$5.00 per widget per month. Prices are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST where applicable.

3. Token Locking

Upon successful payment, each widget is issued a unique access token. This token is:

Widgets will only load when embedded on the registered domain. Attempts to use a widget token on an unauthorised domain will be rejected. If you need a widget for a different suburb or domain, a separate subscription is required.

4. Subscription and Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month unless cancelled. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

You will receive an email confirmation with your widget embed code(s) after each successful payment. We do not store your card details — all payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. After cancellation:

To cancel, contact us at support@gettinthr.com or manage your subscription directly via the Stripe customer portal link provided in your confirmation email.

6. Refunds

Because widget tokens are issued and activated immediately upon payment, we do not offer refunds for the current billing period once a subscription has been activated. If you experience a technical fault that prevents your widget from functioning correctly, contact us at support@gettinthr.com and we will investigate and provide a remedy, which may include a credit or refund at our discretion.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Data Accuracy

Public transport scores and data displayed by gettinthr widgets are derived from publicly available GTFS feed data and our own scoring methodology. While we aim for accuracy, data may not reflect real-time conditions, timetable changes, or service disruptions. We do not warrant that the data is complete, current, or error-free.

gettinthr is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Transport for NSW, Public Transport Victoria, or any government transport authority.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any breach of these Terms without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, data, scores, design, and code comprising the gettinthr Service remain the property of gettinthr. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to embed the widget on your registered domain only.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, gettinthr is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including any reliance on transport data displayed by a widget.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
